Text Box: JEFFERSON COUNTY R-1 MECHANICS Text Box: PURPOSE The R-1 Mechanics, shall disseminate all relative information, express the convictions of its members, promote high standards, advance the proficiency, the social, ethical, economic, and overall welfare of its membership. We shall uphold and advocate our purpose at all times. Text Box: BENEFITS Assistance—Work with the membership to bring resolution of any problems. Attitude—The association shall take a positive stand in any situation affecting the good of the schools and its’ membership. Judgment—The association and its members shall be professional in their actions and objective in their deliberation and judgment. Efforts—Cooperate and coordinate our efforts with CSEA and district management. Elections—All elections of officers will be held in November of each year and assume office the first December following the election. Gift Certificates—Given to all dues-paying members toward the end of the year. We represent all Fleet Services positions including: Bus and Vehicle Mechanics, Body and Paint technicians, and Fleet Warehouse.
